  1. Hi all,
I have searched all forums for Mux start time but there are no answers to posts with this error, I hope someone can shed some light into this problem.

DVD: Mark of Zorro Region:1 NTSC Total Time: 137mins.

The error message appears in a popup window "Error: Mux start time is greater than the total time 537 seconds"

Then in the log you get this error "Access violation at address 004911A0 in module 'DVD2SCVD.EXE'. Read of address 01F2C000"

bbMPEG kicks in after CCE, i have had to re-start using crash recovery and it starts from 'Muxing and cutting'.

Anybody ' any ideas'? many thanks to all
    Morci

  2. This problem was also posted on forum.doom9.org about 3 times without any solutions. I've emailed the problem to the creator of DVD2SVCD (this uses bbmpeg as the muxing and cutting program) in the hopes that I too will resove this problem. Also emailed the creator of bbMPEG.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I did not resample from 48 kHz to 44 kHz???
    Can anyone help us???

  3. I'm no VCD Jockey but I think I've solved this problem. I discovered why I was repeatedly receiving this error message "mux start time is greater than total time XXXX seconds." The "Pulldown_Encoded_Video_NTSC.mpv" file was not the same size as the CCE ecoded mpv file. Therefore, pull down was not completed. To solve this, I had to delete all VOB files from my hard drive to free up more space. Than I used the "Recover" feature under the "Misc" tab in DVD2SVCD and selected "Pulldown" from the drop down menu. Click Continue and VOILA...a fully encoded pulldown mpv file from which bbmpeg can multiplex the audio file with.
You definitely need at least 10 Gig hard drive space to perform DVD2SVCD without deleting files so I suggest that if you do not have this kind of HD space, uncheck the "Don't delete any files" in DVD2SVCD OR delete the VOB files after converting to mpeg and reexecute the pulldown step.
