    Why is my mpg so blocky.

    I have tried to fix this in Mediapipe and FFmpegX

    It still is horrible.

    What bitrate, resolution and MPEG type (1/2/4) are you using? Also, what is your source material?

    the file your converting is m2v 2500 bps 480x360? or your converting to m2v at that rate? if the source material isnt as good as what your encoding to then your just wasting space, the quality isnt going to improve once its been severely compressd (which is the case with divx)
