Hello everyone. 1.How can I 'correct' an mpeg movie file, that has blockiness, or maybe the word is pixelization. You've seen it, the movies that play ok but 'break up' in certain parts. I don't really think I would have to reencode with all the new high tech software thats available now. I have used vcdgear and it works on some mpegs, but i would like something a little more advanced.
    2. Their is a great page at vcdhelp on converting an avi file to fit on one cd, and the only problem i had after the conversion was getting the movie to the full width on my tv screen. I think it may have to do with bitrate, but i am not sure. I used Tmpgenc as according to the instructions, and i'm still lost in this area of understanding how to get 'full screen' and still be able to get it all one 1 disk. Ok, I admit, I probably don't understand the basic terms and would appreciate it if someone explains it all to me. Here is the vcdhelp site I have been using: http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/84759.php

Thanks again for your expert advice!
