PBC

I have noticed that when i play my VCD's on my JVC S40, 99% of them have PBC on the time counter and very few actually show the time elapsed. Is it how i burn the disc's or is it a feature or the DVD Player itself?

Do a search on PBC in the forums. There's tons of info (a lot more than I could ever cover) on this topic and a friendly tip: try not to double post, the mod's frown on it.

try pressing the track forward button instead of play to start the movie--it works in my Pioneer
