I've just downloaded DVD2SVCD and I'm itching to use it, but I have one question. Can I use Nero to burn to the CD? Reading the tutorial and the Q&A, it looks as if the preferred proggie is fireburner, CDRWin, or EZCD Creator. Please let me know, as I'm ready to get this show on the road!!!!!

  2. The default for DVD2SVCD is to create a bin/cue file to be burnt. Nero will burn these, no problems. Just close the burn wizard, choose 'file | burn image', select the cue file (will have to choose *.* or type manually), and then burn it.

  3. This might be dumb but if you load the bin file instead of the cue, Nero burned it "fine". However, my DVD player (343) doesn't see it as an SVCD. .only a nonplayable VCD. .is that because I didn't use the .cue file???

  4. Nero in fact does not burn CUE/BIN images properly. It stuffs it up and may lead to playback anomalies.

I strongly suggest you get CDR-Win or Fireburner to burn CUE/BIN images.

    Regards.
