    I have just converted a DVD to .AVI, with a pixel size of 720x576. I now want to convert my .avi to MPEG (SVCD format)Is 720x 576 acceptable, or do I have to make sure my avi is recorded to 480 x 576???

    In TMPGenc Just use the Source Apsect Ration: "Full screen (Keep aspect Ratio)" and everything will be fine!
