need help

Can someone please help me I have a winfast A250 le td on my computer I have been trying to record a video on to my computer using myvivo it is the program that comes with the card it all works ok we can see it on the screen the audio is fine but when we look at what we have recorded it is not ok what we see is a liitle bit of the movie up the top and bottom but in the middle is a white box the sound is great and the picture that we do see looks ok to, am I doing something wrong?????

Please help me it is a commecial video that I am trying to record, but one that we already own.

Either it's PAL/NTSC standard problem or the copyright scrambling problem. Try non-copyrighted source and see?

Loose connection can produce such problem too. I has that problem before. But not as bad as you described.

Ziemmer mentioned about the older WDM driver. It could help but I never tried it.

Only if it's due to copy protection problem.

You can get a descrambler too, if that's a problem.
