Anyone recommend a freeware program..

I want to take a VOB file at extract a certain part of it. However, it is not a complete chapter so I cannot use Smartripper or DVD Decryptor.

What are you going to do with it after you rip it? The reason I ask, if you are going to convert it to MPG or even run it thru DVD2AVI, you can rip the full VOB or chapter with Smartripper and then select the start/end points from there.

I want to pull the Dolby Digital Trailer from the VOB but it is situated right in the middle of a chapter after the main studio title and before some future adverts for other films.

The only thing I have to do now is to get a fast internet connection. British Telecom dont seem to think that people who live out in the country would be at all interested in Broadband!!!!
