  3. You can download S/VCD (as well as official CD-DA, CD-ROM, etc.) logos from the Philips website. The actually hi-res images are encrypted in a second zip file (to which I don't know the password), but the unencrypted accompanying PDF file has all the images within (at presumable lower resolution). However, if you don't how to do a bit of digital imaging, it is more than adequate.

  6. I probably don't know as much about cracking ZIP files as you do, but I tried using a dictionary search attack on it and it didn't work...

If it is some random combination of letters and numbers (or even not so random but not an ordinary word), doing a brute force attack will take a long time.

Just my two wondering cents regarding the Philips file: Pray tell me, why do you all strain your brains on the most officient method of how to break the password, instead of just, as simple as it may sound, follow the instructions in the PDF, sign the bloody agreement, fax it to Philips and get the password? It doesn't cost a penny.

  19. Well, then contain (from memory) original EPS files of the logos which would be very handy if you want to add proper logos to your covers.

  21. People must be interested in logos these days as visits to my site have grown 4x this week.

Most covers, intros, etc. do not need the hi-res logos but rather a smallish logo.
