  1. Found out that DVD Junior by authoringware (authoringware.com) allows for DTS and AC-3 5.1 encoded audio files for DVD-authoring. It is a much more practical and less expensive program than the few others that allow DTS encoded files (ie. Scenarist).

never heard of them but indeed that 99$ program supports 5:1 ac3 and dts ... worth it for someone to take a look as feature set is nice ..

they have a 2250$ program also --- strangly that one doesnt support dts - only the cheap version ..

there dosnt seem to be a WHOLE lot of diff between JR and LE and WISE except the price ..

    free demo anyway there

what is interisting from a dvd2dvd-r standpoint is the sdk / dll they have .. as "it is the only DVD authoring SDK on the market, that takes script file input. Only one simple function call is needed to initiate complicated bit stream manipulation. It also includes direct write routine for any DVD/CD burners (DVD-R/RW, DVD+RW, and CD-R/RW)."
