What the heck is an ASPI layer. VCDEasy will not let me burn because of this, and for the last time I DONT have an external CD-RW. What do I do?

simple answer,ASPI layer is how your software(vcdeasy,dvddecryter,nero,etc.) talks to your hardware(cd burner,dvd player,dvd burner, cdrom)

For the last time?? I don't believe that you have ever asked this question before. Similarly, if you had done any research (e.g., read some of the pages on the VCDEasy website, it problem and solution should become obvious).
I suggest that you download and install ForceASPI from http://www.doom9.org
