Need help with..............Omni SL-P40000G

Could you guys please help me here.

I want to puchase a DVD Disc from the states (whihc is Region 1). Could i play it on my Omni SL-p4000G player?

On the manual it says it could only play Region 4, but i'm not too sure.

Is there a hack or method that i could unlock it into multi-region.

Apparently they are selling 2 different versions of this DVD Player - the Omni SLP 4000 and SLP 4000 G. The 4000 is meant to have Macrovision disabled and play multi-region DVD's. I would suggest you visit the Omni site forum @
