  1. i converted a NSTC SVCD (form a DVDrip) in TMPGEnc Plus...with the following options: 2-Pass (with a Bit rate of 3000) and the Motion Search Percision at High Quality...did the whole vcdhelp (to get chanpters) and burnt it on Blindwrite at 24x. i play it on a Apex AD-1500 DVD Player and the movie comes out in high quality but the screen jidders when theres action (little or alot)...whenever a guy moves his hand or walk accross the screen or etc...i even tried loading the template with no changes and it still does the same...so what could be my problem??? could it this version of TMPGEnc or my DVD Player or the speed i'm burning at.

  2. If you loaded the SVCD template without changes and you still get the problem, then your DVD player may not support SVCD.

Try muxing the SVCD file to "MPEG-1 Video CD (non standard)" format. Follow the steps below in the order listed:
    1. open TMPGEnc and select 'MPEG Tools...'
    2. select 'Simple Multiplex' tab
    3. load your movie into the Video Input line (the audio and output line should fill automatically)
    4. change the output file name (do not use the same name as the input file)
    5. set the Type to "MPEG-1 Video CD (non standard)"
    6. click Run

    7. burn the output file as a video cd in Nero (not super video cd)

ALSO...lower your bitrate...some players wont play 3000...try 2000 until you get everything working.
