    When I load my avi file into the source area of TPMG Enc the audio doesn't doesn't go into the audio source area, what could be causing this?

    you could try extraction the audio of the avi with Virtualdub, then use the wav file as the audio input for Tmpgenc. there are a few pages around here that tell you how to do it. if ya cant find them just ask me.
