  1. i have try to encode avi to mpg with the option "One Disc VCD" with TMPGEnc. it came out and the file was to big to fit on one disc and the file didnt play. plz help i have waited so long to make a vcd

    Your first post !

    DO NOT USE THE ONE DISK TEMPLATE

    Load a PAL/NTSC VCD template and click START ! Change NOTHING !!

    Then use TMPGEnc Mpeg tools > Merge&Cut to split the movie into half (If its too big)

    ADD > Your Large Mpeg 1 > Edit > Move to center and mark it as end >OK

    Select "MPEG 1 Video CD" from drop down list, use c:\movie1.mpeg for output and click RUN

    Now click Edit and select the other half and have c:\movie2.mpeg

    Burn to 2 disks with a VCD authoring program..

    Did they play ?, they did ! OK you made your first VCD, you can now move on to try XVCD (Which may not work at all)
