can i burn an vcd in a DVD+r media??

if i burn a vcd in a DVD+r ill have a vcd with 470min, is it possible?
if yes , the process is the as burn a simple vcd??
if not how can i proceed?

but i have the originals in vhs yet, if i dont want to follow that guide...
can i capture the tapes on 352x288 audio 48khz mpg 1, and burn it like a normal vcd in vs6 or dvdworkshop,how i procced with the simple vcds?

You can capture in vcd resolution and with 48 khz audio but you burn in dvd format with any dvd authoring tool. It is not possible to burn as vcd on a dvdr.
