My cable system uses the HRC standard for the channel frequencies. (http://hometown.aol.com/jneuhaus/fccindex/cablech.html) That means they are shifted from the standard channel frequencies. So when I tried PowerVCR and WinDVR they have a auto channel feature that didn't tune in or find all the channels. I didn't see anywhere to manually tune the channels.
The software I am using with the Pinnacle PCTV Pro is the newer version for WinXP but has a manual tuning feature which allowed me to tune in all the channels. It doesn't have some features available that are in the other softwares. I haven't found where I can buy the full version either. Their web page says it available only in Europe at the web store. Where ever that is.
Any suggestions?
