It's been happening more often lately with Divx movies. I'm extracting audio with Vdub to a wav file (why do people use 8 bit btw?), and when I convert with toolame, I always get errors at the same spot. Yet if I remerge audio, to new .AVI and extract again then toolame lets me do a full convert (224 bit stereo). I use the standard defaults in toolame.
What's up with that? It's quite annoying. Keep in mind when I convert and compress audio source to PCM 16 bit wav at 44100khz, the original audio is usually 8 bit VBR.
Is this a common problem? What am I doing wrong?
