    i have ripped DVD using VCD via CDR. Can the DMR copy commercail DVD's. Any info would be helpful/

    Only if you buy a filter from http://home.cfl.rr.com/filter/. This filter has S-video and RCA video jacks, however, the DMR-E30/E20 can only be used with the RCA video jacks (when using the filter). Also, the DMR-E30 can only record in 4:3 aspect ratio. SO if you have a wide screen movie, it will be in 4:3 aspect ratio (standard TV). I don't know if any of the DVD recorders can copy in true wide screen.
