    have just been given an LG2280p dvd player but cant find a region hack for it can anyone shed some light on this for me THANX

    Hey,

    I to have one of these machines. There is a remote code for it but it only works if the firmware is post 2000. If it is pre 2000 then you will have to get it chipped or the firmware updated. Have a look on dvdreviewer.co.uk, they have a lot of region hacks. You may need to look around first but if you have any problems finding it just post the same message as you did here.
