    Spruce up

after waiting like 20 hours for remeg to encode and advancing on to spruce, i get an error show when spruce is importing the AC3 file
( Cannot Locate a Frame SYNC word at an expected byte offset. Data might be corrupt )
this has happened on a couple of different films, im not having much success with this dvd ripping, for one reason or another the end product doesnt seem to work on my standalone apart from the ones under 4.3 and im gettin tired now. i just want to know if anyone knows of this problem, does the pc have to be set up in a certain way? please help.

  2. This happens to me from time to time. I usually go back to Smartripper and re-export the AC3 stream. Then try again. It has worked for me everytime so far........

    Hope this helps.

You can also use AC3Fix to repair corrupted AC3 files if you no longer have access to your source material. SpruceUp is too finicky sometimes.
Impossible to see the future is. The Dark Side clouds everything...

  5. also another alternative for u to consider......

if u have the original vobs u can just remux you m2v file back with ifoedit since u have used rempeg to transcode and use ifoedit to generate new ifos if you are not using the original menu
