I recently bought crouching tiger hidden dragon and tried to back it up using smartripper. I checked to see the default language and smartripper claimed it was the english 2.0 track so I backed it up using the default settings. Upon viewing the .vob files I noticed that the language was english. After using dvd2avi and tmpenc, the language was not english on the final mpg! I was wondering if there is a way to copy just the english track using smartripper or possibly using dvd2avi or tmpenc to use only the english track before converting?.?.?
thanx

We can use stream processing and demux the video to a m2v, and the english sound track to a ac3 file. Then convert it to VCD.

I'm a little confused by this. Can you tell me the programs and steps to do this. Or if possible a link to a guide explaining this.
thank you for the reply
