Right, I've checked the compatibility lists for my player (samsung 709) and it says that it plays vcd's and svcd's but not cd-r. I've used TMPEnc to encode the film, i've used Nero5599 and VCDEasy to burn and it doesn't work with either. I've tried to include chapters to see if that made a difference, it didn't. Anyone got any suggestions?
Cheers
Bev

I had a 709,it is very sensitive to the media you burn on. I found very few media it would play. I sold it because of that. Try different media,as I recall it liked silver disks but I don't remember the brand names.
