    How can you see if a download is a SVCD, VCD, DIVX ??

    Be patient and you might get an answer!!!!

    File extensions are a good start. for mpeg files, open in mpegprop.exe for more detail. For .avi type files, open with virtualdub and select file->file properties.

    Get both from the tools sectoin on the left of the page.
