I used nero to burn a vcd and the picture is upside down when I play it on my standalone dvd player. I used nero to encode it (from avi) and burn it. I have done a few in the same way and they play ok. This one also plays ok except for the fact that its upside down.

Simply turn your tv set or moniter upsidedown when viewing the VCD.

My guess is that you used a file encoded for pocket pc. you can run the file through virtual dub and use the rotate filter under video filters then frameserve to tmpegenc.

Thanks for the sugestion. I managed to get it right, I used eo video to convert it from avi to mpeg and then used nero to burn it.
