    Hi,

    I'd like to know if the CenDyne DVD-RW (Part# CDICD00106) is the same as the Pioneer A04/104.

    I see alot of postings and information hinting that they are synonymous but can not find hard evidence.

    have you tried pioneers firmware on this drive? what were the results if you did.

    Love it, no problems. Burning like a arsonist Haven't done any firmware update. Last time I checked, it was the latests and I tend to operate under the rule of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

    well i've gone ahead and ordered it from officemax... only problem is it is back-ordered

    officemax assures me that the item is not discontinued and i will receive one

    i can't wait to get it
