Second Problem I have (related to the last post):
I created a DVD on a German PC with a normal CDRW. The DVD works fine here. But as I know DVD-Players have a country code, and if you want to watch a German DVD in the US it wont work or you have to change the format (and the change is limited to 2 or 3 times).
Is this problem only caused by bought dvds or also with selfmade dvds? How can I change it, do I have to buy an american CDRW?
For quick and short answer I would be thankful.
Thanks

it is not a problem with self made dvd's unless you authored it with a country code .. which is highly unlikly

But what about the PAL/NTSC issue?
Wouldn't the video have to be converted to NTSC prior to authoring? -
I produced the DVD with Unlead Video Studio, where I have the option to produce a NTSC DVD.
Like that it should work, right?
Thanks, and wow, I am impressed how fast the answer was here... -
i think it should work ok ... but be aware converting from 25fps to 29.97 can look nasty sometimes ... another option is to convert the pal to 24 (23.97 internal ) progressive (29.97 external) which is closer in speed ..
