I am looking at buying a vcr to start coverting my old vhs tapes to DVD.
I am also thinking of converting some of my Dad's S-VHS tapes to DVD.
Does anyone know if the Quasi S-VHS playback on newer models works good? Does it retain the S-VHS quality?
Any paticular models you'd suggest?
Thanks

I only use regular VHS but I would say that panasonics are great. STAY AWAY FROM SYMPHONICS! They produce grainy video.
