    well my two .img's turn out to be just a little over the limit of my 80 min. cd-r. is there any way i can edit the .img (without reencoding all over again) and split off just a little bit so it will fit on a cd? please help me major!

  2. You could try to play with VCDGear and see if you can convert back the IMG (the large one) to MPG (try RAW to MPG). Then, use mpgtx to cut the stream. Finally run VCDToolsX to author again. Not sure if it will be better than re-encoding again.

    ok, thanks but i think ill just reencode. but one more question, is there a sufficinet way to tell your output size based on your bitrate and input size?
    because the bitrate calc doesnt seem to be the most accurate way to make sure your encode will fit on a cd-r. a formula or anything like that would be great, if there is one, cuz im too slow to figure it out myself! thanks!
