    Unable to play some new movie downloads, AVI files
    Tried both Windows Media Player & Real One Player

    eg. Eminem movie, "8 Mile"
    Anthony Hopkins, "Red Dragon"

    Plays either blank-black or blank-green,

    Installed both Divx 5, and Nimo Codec Packs......

    Any tips ?

    Load into Vdub select File > file info

    This should show you the codec's that were used. Check your system to make sure you have them.

    Load into TMPGEnc, make sure the movie is not a fake !!
    No audio = fake
    Start of movie is violet then black = fake
