When I'm watching DVD movie (from store) coded with 7000 kbit/s there is NO blocks but when I coded my Digital 8 movie with TMPGEnc and 7000 kbit/s I still can see little blocks on very fast moving objects.
How is it possible? How is it posible that I can't see blocks on factory made DVD movie if it is coded with 7000 kbit/s?
Thanks...

because one of the reasons is we have a lot better source material to start with ..
but even with 8mm if it looks ok on a monitor -- you should be able to encode it with out blocks -- specially at 7000 bit rate
