Whats going on with DVDx?

I got DVDx 1.7, and EVERY time i make a custom chapter selection, it cuts like 5 secs off the end!!! Anyone experience the same issues? Im running Win2k, in case your wondering.

I had the same problem with divx in DVDX 2.0. I think it's a keyframe thing. Looks like when you do custom chapeter, it breaks at the keyframe before the end of the chapter. And with keyframe every 300 frames, that's up to 10 seconds.
So I gave up and split the movie in half manually with Virtual Dub. I was able to stop the 1st half on the exact frame. However, Virtual Dub started the second half at the keyframe before where I told it, so have a touch of overlap.
I guess that's my best solution for now, until DVDX fine tunes their chapter splitting in a future version.
