1. i have a video recorder which is vhs and not svhs ..i connect my svideo out (ATI 8500) from pc to video recorder through adapter ( 21 pin / svideo) to c it on my tv and record it... but it comes only black and white and it doesn't allow me to record things with color on casette...

it works fine if i connect my pc directly to my tv but in this case i can't record...

Could anybody give some tips to c it on my tv through vcr from pc with color and record it?

2. i also have winfast tv2000xp and watch tv on my pc. Is it possible to capture the dvd movie while watching on pc in some mpeg format? I tried connecting s-video out to s-video in of my tv tuner to capture it on fly? but not much success.
