How do I create a JPEG picture CD that will operate in my AKAI dvps-760?

The akai plays JPGs just like it plays MP3s. You can navigate the directory structure and select files. Burn the CD with any structure you like. You can then navigate your directories and have it play (and repeat) all the pictures in a directory. So you can organize your JPGs or put them all on the root, whatever works for you.
And you can mix JPGs and MP3s! It will play the files in order. When it hits a JPG the JPG will be displayed. If the JPG is followed by an MP3 the JPG remains displayed while the MP3 plays. (As I recall...) In this way you can make a CD with images to display while the songs play.
