  1. hi
I need help with some mpegs that wont work in tmpeg or adobe premie. I have clipped some of the mpegs from an mpeg made from a bin and cue using vcdgear.

I have tried a few converting programs like myflix and tmpeg.

BUt i just have a bunch of mpegs that are svcd mpegs(i guess) that i would like to convert easily so they can be added to a project in adobe premiere.

    any help would be appreciated.
    Ill be searching the forums.

what version of Premiere as older versions do not take mpeg2 but newer ones do no problem ...

as for tmpgenc - just install a mpeg2 codec (nanopeg or windvd or any other such as main concept or lygos)

  3. well I am using adobe premiere 6.0.

After installing a mpeg 2 codec witht the newet version of tmpeg, I can insert some other mpegs now but they jave no pic and no sound just buzz kinda look like sound wave for pic.

I am trying to insert mpegs that i have either downloaded or used vcdgear to take an mpeg from a bin and cue.

Is there an program that will modify all moegs to make them work?
I have tried a few things like trans multiplexing thema few ways but cant get em t work.

what is the basic things i have to change on mpegs to make them mpg1 compliant?

  5. ok ill get 6.5 but that looks like its gonna take a while. Got anything that will help me in the next five minutes.

I have a hell of a lot of mpeg files that will not go into tmpeg or adobe preimere 6.0. Some of them I can see broken index or time code or whatever. I dont know how to edit the mpeg or what to edit it to(standard mpeg).

Is there an easy program that turns video clips into mpg1?
