  1. Hello folks.
I've got some cartoons about 85-90min, I converted this to Standard VCD for compability. Burned them in nero as they are on a 90min cd-r, worked great.
But then i added some chapters in vcdEasy, just 10 equal chapters so you dont have to fast forward the whole movie. The "internal" cdrdao didnt work with my cdrw so i just made a cue/bin-file and burned it in Blindwrite.
But know the movie is hard to play at the last 5minutes or so, the player searching and searchin and most of the time it dont make it trough, so i have to eject the disc.
Is this an issue of vcdeasy or what?????

  2. This has nothing to do with VCDEasy.

The problem is that your player is having difficulty reading your media at the extremes of the disc. Often, small factors can make a difference if you have media incompatibility issues (e.g., using Blindwrite to burn rather than Nero).

Are you using a different burn speed (e.g.)? Different media brand than before?

You could always try burning the CUE/BIN with Nero (make sure you have one of the newer versions).

    Regards.

  3. Hmm It's actually a new media but used both with my nero and blindwrite copy. Burning speed in blindwrite was 6X and nero 8x. I got the newest nero and will try to burn the cue/bin there. Maybe lower the speed even more, if the "chapters" maybe is more difficult to burn than the mpg on it's own.

Mr Walker, I would try burning at 2X, 1X, or even 4X depending on your media. Burn at 1X-2X to be safe.

    Hope that helps

  5. Hmm... I burned the cue/bin in Nero at 4X speed and it actually seems to work, at least this time.

Burning at a speed of 4X and lower will ensure you that you will get good playback Mr Walker. Just burn the rest of your movie at 4X and lower so you won't get sucky playback.

    Hope that helps :P !

  7. NO only worked once guess it's back to 2X speed, or not having chapters.
