  1. Im using an ATI All in Wonder Radeon 8500 to capture MPG2 at 720x480 to make DVD's. Im using the ATI software to capture. Here are my settings.
    MPEG2
    720x480
    44.100KHz, 16 bit, stereo
    VBR
Video Bit Rate 15.00 M/Bit second
Motion Estimation Quality is at 100
I can capture great video with no frames dropped. It captures the video as an MPG2 file. When I try to import the video into SpruceUp I get "Unsupported Media: Invalid Sampling Rate". What am I doing wrong? How do I get around this problem? Any help is apprecitated.

    Thanks Boxingjunkie

  3. Upgraded to MMC 7.7 and it works now. Thanks for the tip. Just one question. I captured the video, imported it into SpruceUp, but it wont let me simulate. When I hit play to simulate, it just sets there and does nothing. Also, when I try to export it says that the Project size is 0. The only way I can get it to show a file size is if I add a menu first. What if I dont want a menu? Thanks again.

  4. You need to drag the movie asset down to the bottom black icon with the little cross in it (next to the Step 3 button). This will make the movie the first play item.

You say your video was captured at 15Mbps. This has to be a typo, because this is way out of spec. The video can be no higher than 9.8Mbps. Nothing should allow you to author this and if it does, nothing will be able to play it (except on the computer).

  6. I did capture the video at 15 mbps. SpruceUp will let me import it but it just wont simulate. Perhaps this is my problem. I didnt know that 9.8 mbps was the max. I will also try to drag it and see if that works. Thanks for the input.

  7. Both of your tips worked. I lowered the bit rate to 9.8 and did the drag and drop and it works now. No problems. Thanks for all the help.
