I currently have a PS2 which I am soon to be upgrading to a standalone DVD player due to my recent digital camera purchase.
I am not after perfection as I am not a really serious viewer, just something that will be comparable with PS2 with a few extra features.
The main purpose for my DVD player will be the viewing of my digital photos that will be burned on to a vcd (any recommendation of software to use ?). As I am not looking to spend a fortune I have narrowed the choice down to the Kiiro 838d and the Pioneer D350. Does anyone have experience of either of these machines for the above purpose. I have always brought panasonic and sony so am a bit dubious of venturing in to the unknown but have read very favourable reports of the Kiiro. Am I sacrificing quality for features by ignoring the pioneer ?
