    Is there a programm to store individual frames of a mpeg2 file in jpeg or bmp files?

    It sounds like you basically want to capture individual frames from your mpeg2 file.

    Load your mpeg2 file in TMPGenc. If you only want to select a certain small interval of frames then click setting/advanced/source range, and set this interval.

    Now close this and go back to the original screen that opends. Click file/output to file/sequence BMP/PMM etc... Select the desired filetype and save it to your hard drive.
