  2. Hi again,

I forgot to mention that I do have a FireWire capture card with Pinnacle studio 7. My camcorder has digital pass through so I don't think I need to capture with my video card.

  3. A good read:

Plus there's more on the horizon, so real high end stuff now, will be much cheaper shortly.

I'm an NVidia fan, but I also used to like baseball.

  4. Personally I find the ATI Raedon 8500 All in wonder suits my needs (heavy on capture, pretty decent gaming quality)

having been an Nvidia fan in the past (definatly not now) I have to be fair and inform you about the Visiontec Xtasy everything

It sports the following advertising tags:

    GeForce2 MX400 64MB AGP
    TwinView technology
Dual VGA and S-Video/TV in +out connectors
Real-time AVI, QuickTime, MPEG1, MPEG2 capture (VCR to DVD resolution)
    Real-time MPEG2 Timeshifting Playback

  5. Go with the GeForce4 Ti4200

There is no better card other than the Ti4600.

Its the fastest card there is and will handle all the graphics needs you may have for years to come. I would recommend the Gainward one as I got mine for $250 less than a comparable one and its just as fast and just as good. I had the same brand of Geforce 2 Pro and it was great.
Not only am I perfect but I'm Canadian too!

  6. I'm sure that the Gainward's Ti4200 with the 3.35 nSec memory is the fastest amonst all of the Ti4200 series cards. Unfortunately I don't think that one comes with TV and DVI out connectors, so I got a Leadtek Ti4200 card with slightly slower memory but with a better software and accessories bundle for a great price of $139 (shipping included). I already have a Pinnacle Firewire capture card so I'm all set. Thanks for the advice.
