How do you rip subs off a DVD and how do you put them in the video? The subs I want are just the ones when Watto and that other creature that walks on his hands(don't know his name right now) talks. I'm trying to make a VCD.

There are numerous guides on putting subtitles on VCDs. I suggest having a look at http://www.doom9.org
One easy way is using DVD Decrypter to decrypt the entire disc and then using FlaskMPEG 0.6 subtitled fixed version. When you select the relevant IFO file, it will give you an option of video, audio and subtitles.
The "Alien" subtitles on many DVDs are sometimes named "English2" and are usually after all the other language ones. You can preview if the correct subtitle has been chosen with Flask in any case.
