  1. Have used Spruceup for making VCD & SVCD no problems using my plextor WA1612. Just got a Pioneer DVR-104 and replaced the plextor with it. Now when trying to make a DVD, when I export it compiles no problem, then says "The remaining write operations will be aborted". No error message, just an OK button

Anyone else had this? If so, how did you get round it?

  2. Spruce doesn't know A-0x. Export the "Title Set" to your HD, then use Nero or some DVD burning software to write it onto DVDs.

  3. I compile and burn in SpruceUp with my Pioneer A03 all of the time. Try uninstalling SpruceUp and reinstall. Also, my burner is slaved to my DVD player. SpruceUp will not recognize a USB burner. I capture avi with VirtualDub - Transcode with TMPGEnc - Demultiplex with TMPGEnc.

  4. WKC. Spruce recognises the burner fine else it wouldn`t give me the option to burn to disk. I have tried exporting the titleset & burning with nero which works fine except for one thing, both my DVD players will not read nero burned DVDR disks.

Twinegear. Burner is master & DVDROM is slave. I`ll try reinstalling spruce, cheers.

Use Prassi Primo instead of Nero to burn - much nicer

  6. I have the same problem with my Pioneer A-04. Spruceup recognizes it just fine, but immediately cancels the operation if I try to burn to it directly. If I export it to my HD as either a title set or disc image & burn with Prassi DVD-Pro the discs will play in almost anything.

If I burn the title set with Nero, it will play in my computer with PowerDVD, but will NOT work in any stand-alone player.

  8. OK spruce reinstall didn`t work. The DVD writing update for movie factory does work now so Ill have to use that rather than spruce. I`d prefer to be able to use spruce as its much more configurable & I`m not limited to crappy templates for menus.
