With using Nero, I attempted to copy an AVI file to vcd so that i can play it on DVD. The process worked except, the sound is delayed about 10 seconds. Any ideas![]()

Do not use Nero to encode ....use TMPGE,

Chances are TMPGEnc will have a delay as well. Everything u need to know is at http://www.vcdhelp.com/divxtovcd.htm . Believe me, this works. Converting to a WAv file never takes more than a couple of mins on my 1.7Ghz

msasso is correct....
I now extract the WAV before every encode ....works well for me.
Vdub > File > Open > Audio Tab > Compression > No compression > Audio Tab > Conversion > 44100 if VCD > File > Save WAV.
Use resulting WAV as audio source in TMPGE."Today is only yesterdays tomorrow"
