  1. With using Nero, I attempted to copy an AVI file to vcd so that i can play it on DVD. The process worked except, the sound is delayed about 10 seconds. Any ideas

  2. Do not use Nero to encode ....use TMPGE,

  3. Chances are TMPGEnc will have a delay as well. Everything u need to know is at http://www.vcdhelp.com/divxtovcd.htm . Believe me, this works. Converting to a WAv file never takes more than a couple of mins on my 1.7Ghz

  4. msasso is correct....
I now extract the WAV before every encode ....works well for me.
    Vdub > File > Open > Audio Tab > Compression > No compression > Audio Tab > Conversion > 44100 if VCD > File > Save WAV.
Use resulting WAV as audio source in TMPGE.
