Hi.
I've burned my dvd with nero, it takes up almost the whole dvd-r, but there is still a little bit of room, but here's the problem:
When It's played in a set-top it gets almost to the end of the movie, then it starts skipping. the video freezes, and the sound stops. it does this several times before it just dies. (on my ps2 it actually says the disk is unreadable). The rest of the movie works fine, but the end always looks poopy. The media I'm using is made by SmartDisk (picked it up for rather cheap). Well, any advice?
Thanks

I can just about guarantee you that the "cheap" media is the culprit.
Poor quality towards the end of the disc is a hallmark of junk media. I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but as I've found out the hard way, cheap media is cheap for a reason.
I'm not saying all cheap media is junk. However, 9 times out of 10 you get what you pay for. TDK, which is a name brand, can be had for around $2.50 a disc.
I've had the same problem with my PS2. The PS2 is much more fickle about what it will play than a lot of normal DVD players. The quality media plays fine on it,. Generic media wont even read a lot of times.
Try some name brand media. I bet you will get much better results.
