    Hi, does both use the same Mpeg2 codec (main concept) or is there any difference in version #s. thanks

    it appears to be the same but more templates are avaible in adobe .. and more settings slightly for encoding ..

    MC wants you to purchase the standalone version also - not that you need to ..

    on the adobe cd there are extra templates and settings for the encoder in the extra's folder that didnt make it into the program.
