ifoedit vs winxp

Has anyone else gotten this program to work with xp/pro? I can use the main program but the player hangs up every time.

I have no problems running the DVD Player in IFOEdit under Win XP. Maybe you are missing a decoder.

I have the same problem with IFOEdit under XP(pro). Everything appears to work with the exception of the Player.

Frederick can you advise what decoder we might be missing?

ifoedit dvd play works good for me with directx 8.0 sdk
having trouble with other versions of directx
it seems the newer ones

The player would not work for me untill I reinstall Power DVD xp. No problem now.

it hangs on me when i miss a step while stripping vob's etc..but if the movie is ready for recording it plays fine

at the IfoEdit web site they say "WinXP doesn't seem to like IfoEdit". Does anyone know how IfoEdit is impacted by XP? I've noticed a few strange things and don't know if it can be attributed to XP. For example, using the best DVD-R's (TDK, Apple) I get disks that don't work in many players and some are prone to skipping. If I use these same brands to create DVD's from home movies using DVDIt, the disks work great in all players.
