Hi, I have a VIA OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Bus host controller, its some cheap pci firewire card i bought (brand is SYBA) chipset i _think_ is VIA vt-6306 or somehting.... link is here http://www.colorcase.com/3firporcar.html
My question is...
Does this affect my capture? as in to DV through adobe premiere.
Because in school, the computer i used, had some pinnacle capture card installed, and having captured from both my home computer and the one in school, my captures are grainy-er, i find this strange. Does this have to do with my firewire card's chipset? shuld i get another card with another chipset?
regards
eugene
