I use Virtualdub for simple editing of avi files like taking out frames and such, but I have one problem: I don't have enough sapce for the huge file it puts out. Is there another program or another way to edit and save the new avi file without it having to be so huge?

If you pay close attention to the"Select BOTH under Audio and Video Direct Stream Copy" part, there won't be a huge file.As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
