How long to burn a full dvd 1x or 2x

I am interested in getting a dvd burner (pioneer) and want to know how long it is taking to burn a full 4.7 gb disc?

Approx. 30 minutes including lead in and lead out burning at 2X speed and just double the time when burning at 1X speed.

That's discussed all over the place (do a search) but essentially, name brand=good, generic/house brand/princo = bad. That's not to say that cheapo dvdr won't work for you (even at 2x) but you have to try yourself. And you don't know if it's archival quality until it either reads or doesn't read in 5 years :).
