svcd and dvd-r ?

i don't own a dvd burner as of yet but i do have a question about it would it be possible to put multiple svcd movies on one dvd-r? I figure one dvd-r has about 4.7gb of space so i could possibly fit three movies on one disc if it will allow this. Your comments and opinions will be the deciding factor if i buy a dvd burner with the dvd-r compatibility. Thank you if you respond

I have heard that this is possible. I do not know how just yet myself as I just got my A04 a day or so ago, but will figure it out.

I know that I have read in these forums that it is possible.
